Chapter One: October Country
I have waited all year. To feel you in the air. Carve into me. Exhale the light you breathe. Stay quiet while you creep. Lurk through this town with me. You strike like Carpenter's keys. You’re the score to Halloween. You gave me October County by Ray Bradbury. You told me those nineteen stories would change everything. With you, I feel alright. You and I live and die tonight. Worn our masks, fade to black but one day we’ll be back. Every night is Halloween. I have cursed the summer sky. I’ve laid down hexes by your side. Plastic fangs in your mouth. Laid in the grave outside of your house. Screaming in the night. You’re crushed velvet under blacklights. You’re 1977. You are Hell. You are Heaven. You gave me October Country, your only copy. You told me those nineteen stories would change everything. With you I feel alright. You and I live and die tonight. Worn our masks, fade to black but one day we’ll be back. Every night is Halloween. You gave me October Country.

Chapter Two: Mischief Night, 1938
Orson, are you doing well? At this height of your night they tried to throw you in a cell. The police raided the radio station, for your imagination that shocked the nation. I don’t know where to go from here. Your signal is fading, it’s not in clear. All the way up, the only way out. Is your radio, turn it up loud. Whether we stay or run away, we are stuck to what you say. All the way up, we’re on the way out. Pedal to the floor with the speakers maxed out. Hands on the wheel till we’re out of this town. Turn it up while we’re laughing out loud. Laying on the floor while they’re passed out. Wish it were real that ships crashed down. Orson, are you doing well? Soon they’ll lock you in a Hollywood Hell. They’ll know your name real far from Princeton. From a citizen to citizen cane. From a citizen who changed everything. I don’t know how to get home now. The world is falling the convertible top’s down. Hopefully they beam you and me to the unknown space we see. We are visitors anyway, with our own set of death rays. Turn it up, we won’t stop now. Tonight’s the night we’re revolution bound. Hysteria safe and sound. Turn it up, before the sun is up. We may change it all, we may get locked up. How you hear the airwaves won’t be the same, now you know question everything. We’ll leave this town, pedal to the floor, speakers are maxed out we’re revolution bound.

Catacombs

I long for your fade
I still see your face
The decay from day to day
Won't stop me
I stay in the past
I know my path
Sure as the night
Turns to day
We burn quickly
Take me down to the catacombs
Fill my tomb with the best of you
These open wounds long overdue
To be wrapped up tight buried in the night
You flipped the switch to bring me to life
You are the bride of Frankenstein
We dig these graves
Our beds are made
We stay awake
Sleepwalk through days
It's safe to say
With you is where I wanna waste away
You have this crazy way
To stop time
In your eyes
On my mind
Take me down to the catacombs
Fill my tomb with the best of you
These open wounds long overdue
To be wrapped up tight buried in the night
You flipped the switch to bring me to life
You are the bride of Frankenstein
